What’s the True Meaning of Christmas? :D

Christmas is a time that we celebrate with our families and friends by opening gifts, eating food, and giving to others.

It is not the gift, It’s the thought that counts” – Henry Van Dyke

The True meaning of Christmas is love. God says the only way to show him our love is to give our all to him, and for us to spend eternity with him. He gave His Son Jesus“, to take our punishment  for all of our sins. He paid our price, and now today when we give our all to Him, we are set free. By giving him our love, we will forever be forgiven in all our sins.
John 3:16-17 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”   The true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of this incredible act of love. The real story of Christmas is the story of how God become of a human being in the person of Jesus Christ. God loves us, that’s why He gives us such amazing things today. We all wonder “Why was Christmas necessary?” Because we needed a Savior to lead and love us. “But God demonstrated His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

Celebrating Christmas is a fun time of the year. Getting to decorate a Christmas tree with ornaments is a beautiful thing to have in your home. We hang stocking and place gifts under Christmas tree’s for our loved ones to enjoy. Some people even hang lights outside of there homes, just to make a colorful explosion. Than we all eat food with turkey, ham, stuffing and alot more.  But let us not forget the real reason for Christmas…..Let us all make a joyful noise!

We all have our own family traditions….. What’s yours? :D

“Christmas is love in action. Everytime we love, everytime we give, It’s Christmas” – Dale Evans

Saying and Quotes for Christmas Joy :D

“The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.”

 -Burton Hillis

“At Christmas, all roads lead home.”  -Marjorie Holmes

“Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself…”
-Norman Wesley Brooks, “Let Every Day Be Christmas,” 1976

“I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys.”  ~Charles Dickens

“Mail your packages early so the post office can lose them in time for Christmas.” ~Johnny Carson

“Once again we find ourselves enmeshed in the Holiday Season, that very special time of year when we join with our loved ones in sharing centuries-old traditions such as trying to find a parking space at the mall. We traditionally do this in my family by driving around the parking lot until we see a shopper emerge from the mall, then we follow her, in very much the same spirit as the Three Wise Men, who 2,000 years ago followed a star, week after week, until it led them to a parking space.” ~Dave Barry
