Our content filter can block a website for many reasons, inappropriate text and images. If you have been to the website before and it was not blocked then the reason could be the content filter doesn’t recognize who you are.
Different groups have access to different websites. If you get a message about being placed in a “Default” group then the content filter doesn’t recognize who you are. The default group is the most restrictive group with the least permissions to websites. It places you in the appropriate group based on your username so a simple restart of your computer will solve the issue. Restarting you computer in the mornings is a good habit to get into.
If there is an educational website that is being blocked for some reason we can “whitelist” that website so it is never blocked.
